"Black Widow" Nazi Luger, holster and belt for sale

See more pictures below

I bought this rig at an estate sale along with other WW 2 items.  I spoke with the fellow who brought it back, but he was not real lucid at the time.  He said that you see it here just as he unbuckled it from the body.
I have no paperwork, so buy the gun, not the story.

The Luger was made by Mauser and is BYF marked and dated 1942.  It retains about 90% of the original finish.

The Nazi proof marks are crisp and clear and all numbers match.

It comes with the two original magazines with correct FXO/P.08 and proof markings and an original belt and holster dated 1936 and 1941 respectively.

The pistol is known among collectors as a "Black Widow".
That, of course is not a name that was used when the weapon was produced.  It's just a nickname that got hung on it somewhere in the dim past.

The Black Widow is easily recognized among other Lugers because it has black bakelite grips and matching black bakelite magazine bottoms.
The magazines were not numbered  for the Black Widow and some parts that were normally "Straw" on regular Lugers are blued on the Black Widow.

The belt is marked "IRA" and "Wilhelm Hansen & Braun Soligen 1936".

The buckle is unmarked.

You see it just as I bought it.  I have never fired it.

I will accept payment by cash in person, USPS money orders, bank wire transfers, certified checks, Western Union wire transfer, gold or valuable gems. ;-)
Your bank will tell you they are the same.  They are not.
The bad guys got here before you with other forms of payment.

First born children and wives are not accepted, I have enough of them. ;-0

I am not a dealer.  I am just a retired fellow whose retirement plan did not meet it's promises, so my collection must go to pay bills.

Stop back from time to time because the list will change as I have time.
I will be listing till all are sold.  It will go on for years.

OK, here's the fine print...It's an old gun.  I will not warranty that it is safe to shoot. As with any used weapon, one must have it checked by a gunsmith prior to firing.
Shipping and FFL costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

The sale must comply with all state and federal laws in effect at the time of the sale.
